Yasmine Sarraf
About the Artist
Yasmine grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and among the orchards of the Central Valley of California, in a diverse multi Ethnic household. She has exhibited a deep love of nature and the arts from the very beginning. Having eventually graduated from CalPoly Humboldt with a Degree is Studio Arts and an emphasis in Metals and Jewelry, after a departure from initially pursuing Botany and Geology. She continued these studies seeking out an unusual path networking with artisans and master crafts people. These adventures have taken her far and wide across seas to apprentice and acquire skills such as gem carving, goldsmithing, and guilloche, to name a few. Yasmine currently resides in Northern California among the towering redwoods, finding inspiration for art in the rugged coastline and deep forrest of Humboldt County.

Welcome to the Workshop
Located in Eureka CA, available by appointment only, this small, but charming midcentury bungalow, that once served as the artists residence, has now been transformed into the site of the business. Featuring a small library of fine art and technical craft books, the living room doubles as a place to meet with prospective clients or students. A goldsmiths workshop with extensive hand tools, microscopes, and high-tech equipment is the main workspace. And a two car garage now converted into a hot-shop and lapidary wet room with all the necessary safety precautions, provides a comfortable function space for an ever evolving creative exploration. While we have the skill set and tools necessary to do repair work, it is not our preference as there are many risks and variables. Our passion lies in making one of a kind pieces of art inspired by the moment, and passing these skills to other creatives. Custom work for you or your loved ones can also be crafted, and in some cases gemstones and metals of old heirlooms can be repurposed. Such jobs will be evaluated on an individual basis. The materials
Gemstones and Nobel Metals
My associates and I are purveyors of fine minerals and metals. Alloying and fabricating our own sheetmetal and wire from scratch, and traveling the world to seek out unique gems and specimens to capture and elevate through the artistry of metal craft. In addition to Jewelry and sculpture we are hopping to also add a selection of loose crystals to the online storefront in the coming months. Please check back periodically as things progress…
